Did you know there are over 3200 hospices and over 5800 hospitals in the United States?
After a valiant three-year battle, my beautiful niece Jenny (left) spent the last few days of her life in a hospice in New Port Richey, Florida. Jenny's mother, my sister Kathy, and I decided that, though Jenny's life was way too short - 45 years - we would just have to think up a way to honor her amazing and passionate spirit. Jenny was a sweet and wonderful daughter, sister, wife, Mom to three amazing daughters, has a huge family, was a teacher for 17 years. Through her humor, love, commitement to education, and compassion Jenny touched the lives of so many.
In Jenny's honor, Kathy and I send free spiritual artwork to hospices and hospitals, hence "Angels from Jenny". The images have all been painted by me and/or Kathy. Some of our paintings have pink ribbons in them - some all color ribbons, some just angels. "Believe" is a painting Kathy and I made together - though Kathy lives in Florida and I live in Nevada. We wanted to make a painting that included all color ribbons. We just kept sending it back and forth until we decided it was done.
"Chrysalis", "Kahlan", Celyna" and "Ethereal Dreamer" are butterfly angels. There will be more to choose from in the future. We wanted to donate colorful, uplifting artworks to cheer people up in trying times. Contact one of us (links below) if you would like to receive a color brochure of the images available or if you would like us to send one of our fine art prints to a particular hospital or hospice - especially in memory of a friend or a member of your family.
With love,
Renee
